The work presented in Ancestor Houses was made during a residency at Cold Paradise Projects in Shieldaig, Scotland.
“I came here to build small chambers in the mountains. People can go and find them. They are the places where I thought small houses should be. Perhaps I thought that naturally or perhaps there is some divine law to houses. Perhaps the land opens up a small Haven from the storms and the tides and that is the only place for houses to exist.”
